You buy a racket from a well-known brand and they write to tell you that they don't have it in stock and to offer you a supposedly more expensive one in exchange.

Has it happened to you?

Unfortunately, many of us have been through this . You decide that you are going to buy a new racket, you start looking on the internet, you compare between various stores, prices, models... you spend a long time choosing your new racket and you finally decide (or maybe you had it clear from the beginning ). You make the payment in the store in question and all that remains is to wait to receive your order at home with all the excitement of opening your new toy.

Unfortunately, it is more common than it seems that the next day someone from the store calls you or writes to you via What's App to tell you that they don't have that racket in stock and that they can offer you another (usually from an unknown brand or from the brand that manufactures the store itself). The new racket is always of a "supposedly" higher value and they leave it to you at the same price, how can you not accept? , but this ploy is part of the game so you don't complain because they don't have the racket you really wanted.

Everyone can understand that there is a specific error on the website of a store and they do not have a model that is advertised. It shouldn't happen, but it can happen. The problem is when we are not talking about a specific error, but rather a type of sales strategy whose purpose is to attract the customer by offering blades from well-known brands ( Bullpadel , Adidas , Babolat , Head , Nox , StarVie ...) at a suggestive price. and knowing that they do not have them, nor are they going to have them. And of course, after writing to you, they never remove from the web that racket that "accidentally" was advertised and for which you have paid.

In addition, many times this type of practice is associated with great problems to return your money , so many customers resign themselves to keeping the racket that they offer and of which they are unaware of its quality. Some are even happy because they are not aware of the scam and believe that because of the "mistake" of the store they have taken a better quality racket.

Before buying we recommend you search the internet for reliable customer opinions , it is easy to do a search to find testimonials of this style:

They have a sales strategy that could be considered a scam. I have read several opinions (unfortunately, after having made the purchase) and many people have done the same. Their modus operandi is as follows: they have good rackets from recognized brands (Head, BullPadel, etc.) at a very good price. You buy any model without problems (because they tell you that there is stock), then you pay for it and then they contact you to tell you that there is no stock of the racket you have requested, but that as compensation, and for the inconvenience caused, they can offer you rackets of an unknown brand (maybe theirs) that are supposedly very good rackets, with a higher price than the one you asked for and at no additional cost. Of course, I should not have trusted that a nice guy kindly and impeccably offered me such suggestive compensation. But the fact is that later they tell you that if you have opened the package they no longer allow you to return it.

Padel Pro Shop was born to fight against this type of practice, with a completely opposite philosophy and in which we only put on our website what we have in our warehouse . If something is not on the web it is because we do not have it. We have been the first to experience this type of scam as customers and when we decided to open the store we were very clear that we would never use these practices that we denounce here. Hopefully together we will be able to put an end to this scam and soon we will have a reliable market in which to buy any racket with complete confidence.
