■Obsidian · 3 models
Obsidian · control evolves
All three share a new teardrop mold, low balance, and an EVA Soft core. The two Pro models, Black and Silver, are the same racket with a different finish: 16K carbon faces, 3D textured satin finish, 5/10 feel, and 355-375 g, designed for advanced and professional players seeking maximum precision. The Elite switches to 3K carbon (SC Comfort) and a 4.5/10 feel, offering more comfort and greater ball output.

Obsidian sweet spot
92 cm²
The Siux Major 2027
The Soft EVA core and the new mold expand the sweet spot of the face. Even if you don’t hit the ball in the center, it comes off with control.
Low
Balance
The weight is close to the hand. The racket moves quickly in defense and at the net, and the ball goes where you aim it. That is what makes the Obsidian a control racket.
Tear
More leverage than a round one
With the teardrop shape, the impact point is higher than in a round one: more leverage for finishing points when your ball arrives, without the demand of a diamond shape.

The usual doubts
What is Obsidian and what is going on with the Trilogy?
Obsidian is the new Siux control family for 2027 and takes over from the Trilogy. It is not a revamped Trilogy: it debuts a new mold, with a teardrop shape and positioned between the Trilogy and the Diablo, with a low balance and the largest sweet spot in the entire 2027 Siux collection.
Pro or Elite?
The Obsidian Pro is for advanced or professional level players looking for maximum precision: 16K carbon faces, satin finish with 3D texture, and a 5/10 feel. The Obsidian Elite is for those who want more comfort and ball output: 3K carbon (SC Comfort) and a slightly softer 4.5/10 feel. Both share the same mold, low balance, and EVA Soft core. If you are unsure, write to us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.
What is the difference between the Pro Black and the Pro Silver?
Only the aesthetics. They have the same construction and performance: 16K carbon, Soft EVA, 5/10 feel, and low balance. The Black is the more understated version, in exposed black carbon with green details; the Silver makes satin carbon the star, with the greens of the Obsidian family.
If it is a control racket, why is it teardrop-shaped?
Because the teardrop shape provides more leverage than a round one. With its low balance, the Obsidian handles like a control racket, but when you get the ball to finish a point, you have more power than with a classic round one. Siux calls this hybrid precision.
I have discomfort in my elbow. Which one is my turn?
The Obsidian Elite: more flexible 3K carbon face and the softest feel in the family (4.5/10). All three feature an EVA Soft core and low balance, two characteristics that help the arm suffer less than with a power racket with a high balance.
How much does the Obsidian weigh?
The Obsidian Pro weighs between 355 and 375 g, according to the official Siux specs. .
